This application permits the straightforward interpretation of results from oxygen electrodes, and allowing the input of data obtained from experiments with oxygen electrodes from which it can calculate rates of respiration or photosynthesis. The saturated oxygen content of water is calculated using an algorithm that calculates oxygen content from temperature and salinity values. Details of the calculations used are provided within the program.
Results may be calulated on a total or specific activity basis and are written to an output table for printing. A proforma spreadsheet file can also be generated for more extensive calculations.
